Do you charge by the hour or is there a flat rate for the entire event?
Most wedding collections are built around hourly coverage so couples can choose what actually makes sense for their day. Smaller weddings and elopements may have custom coverage options depending on location and timeline.
Can we schedule a consultation or phone call before booking?
Absolutely. Whether you want to hop on a call, chat over coffee, or just email back and forth for a bit first, I’m always happy to connect before booking.
Honestly, I want you to feel excited and comfortable with whoever is photographing your wedding day.
Do you visit the location before the day of the session?
Sometimes, depending on the location. But after photographing weddings and sessions in all kinds of places and lighting situations, I’m very comfortable walking into a new location and figuring out the best spots quickly.
Good light matters more than having every corner memorized.
We’re awkward in photos. Is that going to be a problem?
Not even a little.
Most of my couples say this before their session, and I promise you do not need modeling experience to have beautiful photos.
I’ll guide you the whole way so things feel natural instead of stiff or overly posed.
Do you travel for weddings or destination sessions?
Yes, absolutely!!
I’m based in Minnesota and Arizona, but I’m always down for a road trip, destination wedding, mountain views, desert sunsets, or anywhere with good people and a good story.
